I love your baby quilts and the fact that you do them for charity!

I never get tired of looking at your quilts!!! You give me great ideas. :D

You have made me realize that the next charity project I do WILL NOT be counted cross stitch block. I am working on a 12x12 block of a counted cross stitched "Rabbit" from Winnie the Pooh. It's taking forever -- of course, if I wasn't trying to do quilting at the same time, perhaps I wouldn't feel the pressure. I have been working on it since February, and the deadline is June 30. Almost to the point of outlining it, washing and mailing it. Whew! No more. I wanna do quilts like you do.

How do you quilt your charity baby quilts? Tie them? If so,k what materials do you use and how close do you tie? Tie to front or to back? I am starting to make quilts for Foster children and can't decide what to do about quiloting. Thanks.

I know the feeling. I used to do cross stitch before I got my embroidery machine.

I don't tie them, I freemotion stipple them. But you could stitch in the ditch. I just played around with the freemotion until I got hald decent with it then just went for it.
