Beautiful! I am in a war with my scraps and my stash both. I am not sure they don't multiply while we sleep. I am teaching some new quilters and supplying them with lots of fabric for learning with as well.I have a great pattern for 1 1/2 " scraps in lights and mediums with a 1 1/2 yard or so consistent color in one location. It is awesome and is a log cabin variation. Actually someone posted something similar as a triangle log cabin a few weeks ago. Careful placement of the whites or very lightest makes it a snowflake.

Oh, is it a freebie pattern? I've cut so many 1 1/2" strips that I'm determined to use them--a lot of them. Making those quilts did serious damage to my bag of strips, but I then cut up a bunch more on the day after Easter...I mean, a LOT more.

Is this a pattern you can freely share, or can you send me to it?

Here are some pics of my scraps that I finished (mostly) cutting up on Monday. This is why I must use them.

big clear bag of 1.5" strips 120 liter bag--though not full

bag of 2.5" squares--a grocery shopping bag--used to have 8000 in it we think. Have used some since then

    box of 2.5" strips FULL

size of box with 2.5" strips with quart cup beside it for reference

Wow... you can wage war on my scraps any day! I say I will spend a day cutting them later and later just never seems to show up, LOL. Beautiful quilts!
