Ruth, robotics is just another name for computer controlled. I have tremors in my hands terribly so I have to depend on a computer to do my quilting for me. I still have to decide what to quilt and where to put it so I still have some say so about it. As my robotics has a mode where I can pretty much make my own pattern, I've been trying to use it as much as possible. On the Spiderweb I made the star pattern. On the other Spiderweb I did a couple of months back, again I used the "teach" mode and told it to stitch 1/4" all the way around the star area. My next quilt I have on the frame has tiny little 1/2 square triangles all around it so I'm going to try my hand at outlining them using the "teach" mode so its just my way of doing a sort of FM quilting.
Thanks for looking.

I use ProQ Designer to lay out my quilt patterns. Love that program as I can sit and play with numerous layouts, print them and then decide which one I want to do. Plus if I haven't set the patterns just right, I can go back to the program and adjust it to fit. With the robotics, MQR it has the ability to fit the pattern to the actual area up to a point. I love my new system and I learn from each quilt I put on the frame. Now to work on my piecing methods as that still needs some adjustments in getting the 1/4" seam.
