Default 2 sided End Zone Table Runner

Our 11 yr. old grandson is a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, and the whole family are Chicago Bears fans, living in N. Illinois.
When I saw this pattern and video on MSQC I had to give it a try and make it two sided. The biggest challenge was getting it lined up perfectly when I spray basted them back-to-back with 80/20 sandwiched in between. The biggest time consuming task was tracing, cutting and appliqueing all the yard lines for BOTH sides with a buttonhole stitch. After a cold water wash on a heavy duty setting and a extra low drying cycle, with a large towel, for extra friction, the chenille tape really fluffed up as advertised. Here is the end result, which I hope they love.

The table runner measures finished at approx. 22" x 57".

Oh my! That is a brilliant idea! I sure hope the rivalry doesn't send snacks flying if the fans flip the runner to their favourite team!

I also saw the video and want to make one, later. How much of the chenille stuff did you use? Also what green fabric because you chose well? Looks great a Winner all around!

Clever, just hope those two teams don't play each other. Which side will be UP? Job well done!

Toogie: I cut each strip 21" and there are 11 strips, so a little over 19 ft. of chenille tape. I had plenty from the roll after doing two sides. I used Kona Clover as suggested, and found it at my local quilt shop.
