    These are very sweet and I love them. I, too, have Kim Schaefer's patterns and have made Aug, Sept, Oct and Nov. I used a solid piece in the center. Just did not want to sew all those squares together!! Keep up the good work.

    On some of her patterns I've only pieced the center piece where it will show. Like on your turkey, only the upper outer area shows, so why bother. You'll have to post your other door hangings (mine are wall hangings, yours are door hangings :) ) I love your nice satin stitch, it really looks nice. I usually use a tiny blanket stitch, but might have to try the satin stitch.
