    These photos are of a Dresden plate quilt I made for myself back in 2005. I'd made a multi-colored pastel for my sister and fell in love with the pattern. So I made a second one of my favorite color. My family's nickname for me is Dee, so I named it Dee's Dresden.

    I like it a lot. It's a different version from the normal dresden patterns.

    Thanks everyone. Anne, you're right. I think it's pre-stack n' whack, though. I'd seen something very much like it on Simply Quilts and loved the look. So I had to try it. Of course, it looked much easier when Alex Anderson and her guest did it.
