    This is a pattern by a local artist JEAN BOYD called African Safari.It was one of my beginning quilts I just loved the fabrics, can't remember the line

    really nice! I like how the center medallion extends into the wide border.

    Fantastic! The border is not pieced, just quilted the same width as the other squares?
