Ok, here's my 2d center. I just need to run out tomorrow and get some black thread so I can applique around kitty.

There is a green border at the top too, just cannot see it.

Chrys - I love your mickey mouse - it's so contemporary and stylish looking.

Ninnie, your scrappy is beautiful, it's like distilled essence of Ninnie! I love modern and unusual patterns but the traditional ones will always be up there among my favourites!

And Terri, yours is beautiful! I see the inspiration of Izy's postcard but with the Asian lady behind it's just stunning. And I love the 3D effect of the window sill, it really seems to jut out!

Everyones centres are so beautiful and different, I can't wait for the first round to start! :D

    Thanks!
I am just so tickled as to how well it came out. I scrapped the first one I was going to do since I couldn't find the picture of it. I did this all freehand without any templates. Took me all night.
    I'm still grinning! :)

Chrys, your Mickey Mouse theme is such a clever idea! That would be a fun quilt to work on!

And, Ninnie..............I stared at your center and wondered, "Why didn't I think of that????" Sooooo much can be done with that, and it will be gorgeous.

Terri, is this going to be the international one? Pleeeeassssse say yes. I'd love to get my little paws on that one!!!!!!! I've already come up with different ideas. :D Lovely!

You drew that cat FREEHAND? Wow! Did Monique sit for you? Looks too trim and elegant to be Big Boy!

Ducky, you said you wanted the OTHER one!! So, which one is it? lol

Yes, that was freehand on the kitty. Took me a bit to do it, at one point, it did look like Big Boy with a fat butt. lol Courtney kept telling me to keep trimming it down.

I just picked out some blocks I like, and did a scrappy. they are 6 in blocks.
So get out your boxes of scraps and have some fun with it. It measures 24" by 24", I think.  Feel free to square it up if it needs it.
Ok I get the first round on Ninnie's so I am chiming in. I would like the scrappy one. I love scrappy quilts.
