Thanks, guys. I almost abandoned the project a couple of times, those finicky 3" squares nearly got the best of me, lol/1

Although, I'm wondering, quite a few people seem not entirely happy with their centres, I wonder if we're just having trouble envisaging the borders around it. I'm used to standing back and looking at a whole top on my design wall, not just a centre, I never stand and look at part because I usually have the completed top already done in my head.
I love it!! Is it coming to me?????
After much consideration, soul searching, weighing of pros and cons, deliberations, and consultation with the stars.... oh, and checking the mailing list.... yes, it's coming to you! LOL

Melanie, yours is beautiful.... I'd love to do one of those, haven't quite had the courage to try yet. The colours are awesome!

gaigai, yours is stunning... I love that fabric. I'm using the exact same fabric as centres in a batik sampler I'm doing. :-)

I couldn't see the points not lining up that you mention, until I download the photo and blew it up!! lol If they really make you unhappy, now is the time to fix it. Personally, I wouldn't be worried. :-)

    Melanie,
    WOW!!! That is beau-ti-ful.
I don't agree. I think if those corners bother you to the point that you will never be happy with it. Now is the time, like Blue said, fix them.
You will be happy later that you did.

I would, but they aren't fixable. So, I'll have to think of something else!

    Why, aren't they fixable?
Rip them out a couple of inches on either side and work the fabric.
