Thanks suzic. It was REALLY simple!!! The basket is 3 log cabin blocks, and the print was really easy to fuse and cut out.

I owe the print to barnbum. She ordered some a while back and posted it, and I HAD to have some too. So I ordered um, a lot, um eight yards!

Just....awesome, Gai. I don't know what else to say! I showed my husband (while telling him that yours and the others' work makes mine look like a preschoolers), and he really likes it!

I am almost finished with what I think will be my center. If it all works they way I plan, that is. If I don't like it, or have problems with it, I'll use the last one I posted.

Have we discussed how big most IRR labels are?

Excuse me, Ms. Daffy Duck, that is SO not true!! This was REALLY easy. So easy I knocked it out in one sitting. I am a very inexpert quilter, and really not creative, I couldn't come up with an original idea if my life depended on it. I have to find inspiration from others, yourself included!! So don't shortchange yourself, dearest duckster.

Great guns Gai!!!! That is lovely! And I get it!!! I better find hiding places from DH for this years IRR...Last year he wanted me to keep them all....hmmm...wonder where in the world he would get an idea like that??

Label size....hmmmm....nope, nobody ever asked and we never set any size...so its whatever you would like. Mine were about 8 x 10 I think to make sure people had enough room to write out their info....also I think you should make it plenty big since you can always trim it down, but you can't stretch the darn thing  I'll probably keep mine in that same range this year...maybe a little bigger even. It depends on what all info you want on it...remember the "follow the leader" on the info type thing?

I've done one last attempt at an IRR center. Nothing really "grabbed" me until this one, so I think this will be it. As usual, the color just doesn't do this justice. The purple is a vivid amethyst, and the background is a bright melon green. I've been trying to decide if I want to sew on fuseable binding to make it look like stained glass. I've never done it before...... Tomorrow I will put a one-inch border around it.
