That's why I don't DARE join an IRR -definitely not a reliable finishER  I'm going to be a lurker watching as all of you post pictures of your beautiful work. I've enjoyed watching the 2008-09 IRR that's ALMOST finished. It just keeps getting better and better
thank you. i love karen stones work. i have her EQ software and the NYB was printed from it. i was going to use one of the cinco de mayo blocks but when i printed it out at 4 inches i just knew it would never work.

i wish you had the extra time to do the RR with us. its going to be a blast.

you only have to do 1 border every 2 months so it isn't that time demanding.

i have to get one of those square and block things and beat them into shape.

i'm going to do some flying geese where that solid strip of black fabric is - it just looks so plain and boring with it just being solid black.

    so here ya go, enjoy.
It's looking good Klu, but I kind of like it with the plain black. Perhaps leave something for someone else to do? I'll reserve judgement and wait until you have done a row of flying geese to show us.
i'll put up some mocks and post pics so we can all make decisions.

i think the hardest part is letting it look unfinished so that everyone else can finish it. i look at and say she needs a little something.

KLue - your center is coming along beautifully.

Joanne - I really wish you could join in on the fun - remember you just got all that fabric??!! It's waiting for its chance to travel the world!!!

This is so much fun...I can't wait until things start circulating and more photos get posted.

OK, I've done a lot of thinking about what to do for my center and couldn't come up with anything that really grabbed me. My last one was a pieced center and I'm not ready to try an applique center so I started thinking, "who is this going to be for?".

I've made quilts for both daughter's, my dad, my special aunt and have something in the works for my brother and for my mom. I haven't come up with anything special for dear hubby so I decided this one will be for him.

I was looking at panels and this is the one I'm going to use for the IRR Iit will be for Doug and will be done just at the right season next year.

    Here's the pic:
