Last week he brought me a vole -- like a mole only tinier. Guess it didn't move fast enough for him (or it bit him -- it had some wicked looking teeth) so he killed it playing with it.....don't worry, I won't send that to you -- made hubby take it outside. BTW, what do those yucky lizards eat? If I have to catch flies, it might get really hungry

Thank you I will try and remember that lovely piece of advice. Are you any good at writing speeches
Don't know about that, but I have given the odd lecture. Why are you having to give a speech. Isn't it usually the Groom and Best Man?
Think I answered you on another thread, but then again the way my head is I might not have :D I am giving a speech because I want to say something special to some of my guests, also it will be in Spanish. We also havenīt got a Best Man but a Best Lady. Colinīs son-ín-law just is overcome with nerves when it comes to speaking so his daughter volunteered. I believe quite a few brides speak now, so I may as well be in the fashion.

Here's one possibility I threw up. Well that sounds odd... Obviously not sewn, just cut and slapped up - maybe that's better.

I love scrappy quilts. This is one of three possibilites I'm tossing around, and the easiest to get a visual of quickly so that's what I did today. Not sure what I'd use for the setting triangles/squares. Probably a Simpatico in an off-white, cream or light gold.

Okay Lesley, no problem, by the way I liked your idea of imagining everyone without any clothes on when I give my speech, what a hoot.
