Would this make a good center? Or do I stick with traditional piecing? What do you think??
picking my jaw up off the floor . . . that's stunning!

Wow Suzic!!! That is just, well...wow! I love it! I hope you will stick with it for your center as I can think of lots of borders that would look fantastic with that! I can think of lots of people that will have a hard time passing it on as well...I know my DH would want me to keep that one! He struggles with the concept of all the work, then mailing it off!

Thank you all!:D It was a lot of intricate cutting, so glad it came out like it was supposed to. I still don't know whether to add a little border to it or not, may try placing material around and seeing what it looks like. I'd have to cut it down as it's already a little too big.

I will definitely add a narrow border to my center to bring it to a "normal" size. Will play with fabrics - maybe each side a different one? We'll see.

Pitsburgpam, that will be stunning. I love bright, bold colors against black.

Suzic, your center is amazing. What a lot of detailed cutting. You did a wonderful job.

    suzic

its just stunning. if you're able to add a little framed border to finish it off i think it would look nice.

it would be like the mat on a photograph and then we'll add the framing :D

I have chosen what I will be doing for my center, here's a peek :)
I've only just started, these NYB take forever to do! The small ones are 3", the large ones are 6".
