Ninnie, I love your fabric! Can't wait to see your center!

I wonder if you all could help me... I messed up on sewing the applique of the moose, tried two different methods and can't rip out because of punctures in fabric. Anyway, I made three other centers and got it down between these two or should I try again? Anyone else having trouble deciding what to use??

    Susie,

What a bummer that your moose didn't work out. That must be dissappointing. And I was really looking forward to working on it too. :( But don't worry much about it. Mine has changed also since I posted a pic a couple of weeks ago. These things happen.

I like both of your new centers a lot. If I had to vote though, I'd pick the log cabin star. I'm having an easier time imagining border possibilities for that one. I'll be adding the last border to yours though, so either one will look very different by the time I get it. Are you more in favor of one over the other? Either would be a great start to a beautiful quilt.

Hmmmm.... I see awesome possibilities for either one!

Hang them on a wall, or on a table, walk away for a couple of hours then walk back in and see which one draws your eye first. That's the one you like best. :-)

    Susie,

On second thought, as I'm looking at your centers again, that black background wth the purple is so dramatic. I don't know what direction you'd like to see it go - adding other colors, etc. - but it would be fabulous too. Can I change my vote? How many times? :-) This probably isn't helpful at all, huh?

And Ninnie - love, love, love your fabrics. Can't wait to see your center(s). I think it would be really cool to do them both the same and see what comes back to you. Great idea. Glad to hear you're doing that too, Klue. Will be fun to see the finished pictures.

Suzic, I like both, but I love the log cabin star!!! I can see so many rounds for it! I think Blue has good idea though. Live with them for a couple of days, and the right one will tell you.
I think the purple is striking, Don't guess I can decide either! LOL I'll come back and look again tomorrow also!

Terri so glad you like it!, sorry, but it's not coming to you ,

Thanks sew cornie, glad you like it.

I keep changing my mind too! ;-)

The colours in the log cabin are just absolutely gorgeous, borders of rich colours and strong designs would be awesome. But the black and purple is stunning too, and you can imagine a whole night / starry / bright jewel theme thing happening. *sigh* decisions decisions! LOL

Easy for me to say... I don't have a clue what I'm doing for a centre yet!

Hooray, I get yours Ninnie and I love, love asian fabrics and those are delicious. Canīt wait to see what you do.

Suzic, sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Moose. Would you not want to try it again, Think reverse applique might work on that one well. However having said all of that I love both your centres, but the one that draws my eye first is the log cabin because I love them.

Good luck with the choice whichever one you choose will be great.
