    KW - I agree with MTP - try a darkish border and see what happens, heck, what's WRONG with gaudy anyway! Never did Elvis any harm! Well, come to think of it, it DID actually, so scrap that! I think with a mix of bright and brash and darkish borders it could really work, it's just kind of 'out of context' at the moment; BUT this is a big project so YOU have to be happy with it! :D

    Terri, I remember that card from Izy, that's a great idea for a centre, can't wait to see what you come up with. Have you ever done any stained glass? Might work for the window, then with a black kitty against it could look cool! Just an idea, use it or bin it, your call! :D

    K, don't fret, I'm still in the idea stage too. Hmmmm I'm thinking about maybe a southwestern native american theme. Lots of room for creative thinking on this one.

    I LOVE the blue and yellow! It's so pretty; what issues do you have with the resizing? Can we help (or hinder! LOL)? :D

    I had one idea for mine - some of you will know I've been saying forever that I was going to do a rooster in stained glass aplliqué;..; well, maybe for this? Here's a photo of the design I found. I MAY still change my mind though but feel free to let me know what you think! :D

    Sorry it's done that thing where you have to click on it and i don't know how to change it, and DH isn't here to tell me! I checked and it opens really quick though! :wink:

    This is actual glass but I think he'd work as appliqué;

    Personally, K, I think you should do a stained glass duck. :lol: :lol: :lol: I'd model for you, but I'd have to be in my armor. Hey, that's it. Me in my armor with shield and sword, looking off into the horizon. Very noble.

    Seriously, I love the idea of that rooster! I do stained glass (the real glass kind) and had to study it. That would be gorgeous in bright batiks! How fun that would be for a quilt center!
