Yes, Pigma is a name brand. Any permanent fabric pen should be fine.

Woo Hoo! Finally done! I didn't love my original plan so I changed out the corners and now it has life and makes me smile. This was my first attempt at needle turned applique, and while I won't be taking on a Baltimore Album anytime soon, I really like using this method . . . just very time consuming for me. The close-up is of the corner fabric - made to look like old wild west show posters. I've had the fabrics for 10 years or more and never knew what to do with them. I haven't made my label yet, but plan to cut out six cowgirl posters and applique them on one background piece so each quilter will have one to sign next to.

OMG - That's just beautiful! I think I get this one first, I'm so nervous. I hope I am able to do it justice! Nice work!

Thanks Janstar. Sheepishly I'll admit I've never labeled a quilt. Ugh. But from now on, I will. I always like a bit of whimsy and thought this would be a great opportunity to add some.

Beautiful block and I for a first attempt at needle turn WOW you chose a difficult piece. Love the quirky label idea.

sew cornie....your center is great! I love the cowgirl fabric and your label idea is great! It'll be fun to see who picks which label all right!
