2011 Houses BOM Quilt is Finished!
#72
Thanks,Nicky.I will attempt to find the patterns on here.Used to do some paper piecing....but that was quite a while ago.
It's great seeing quilts so nice, they inspire other ppl to make their own.So fun to look thru the pics on this site.I'm also Mac,but haven't a clue about QP.
Once we are moved & settled in,hope to get back to my quilting.Moving is a longer process than we expected.
Thanks again for the info.

Hi Pat, this was the 2011 Houses BOM. The links to the patterns for 12 of the houses are still here on the Quilting Board, in the Block of the Month area. There is a link for each month's patterns, and a link for each month's photos.
You can get lots of instructions on paper piecing and some free patterns as well, at www.caroldoak.com. There are many free paper pieced patterns on the Internet. You can Google what you are looking for and come up with many. There are also books available at Amazon, and software, like Foundation Factory.
From there, it's up to you how you put them together! I used Quilt Pro for Mac software to come up with my layout, as the blocks were taking too much room on my design board. I photographed each one, and imported it into the software to create a virtual quilt.
I hope this helps!

Nicky you did a wonderful job on this quilt. I have the patterns but got stuck on a couple so stopped for a while. This makes me want to get back to it. I also have some extra house blocks that I can introduce into the quilt. Just love your words and the whole layout. Good luck with your entry. Thanks for sharing this delightful quilt. BrendaK
