    But these "muddies" can make other colors more vibrant. Try using them in portions of a block, like this one from the Military Barracks Quilt Project here on the board, shown merely as an example - she didn't use this particular fabric.

    I had about 4 yards of ugly fabric about 20 years ago. It was a white background with dark brown and lime green 'zebra' stripes. Didn't know what to do with it, so put it in a box of crayons our church was sending to a mission in Haiti. They LOVED it!
