My ugly fabric does not look too bad at a distance, but as you get closer it gets uglier. It is supposed to be fireflies in the pattern, but they look like bugs with some horrible deformity. I actually used this fabric for the backing on a little boy's quilt. He loved it!

I didn't buy this fabric ... I inherited it along with a bunch of other sewing-related stuff when my Granny passed away last year. Most of the stuff is wonderful, but there are a few pieces of fabric that are ... "interesting" ... to put it nicely. Apparently my Granny's favorite colors were brown and orange together, because she used those colors in almost everything! :P ;) I have no idea how old the fabric is.
(By the way, I also have this same fabric in purple and pink, but decided the brown and orange was the most hideous! )

does this ever screem 60's!!! All you need is some avacado green and you will be in total 60's. Not laughing because I am seeing so many of these colors lately. I look at many of the knit type prints today and see my Mom's clothes several years before she died. For life of me I just can not wear them, but see many young people wearing them and they are adorable!
