Whew! That was a lot of work getting what I did loaded! There were more there, the usual Judy Niemeyer's & one that shouldn't have gotten a ribbon at all! The entrant won the quilt from another guild & entered it into this show as her own! How tacky!!
The quilting was absolutely out of this world on some of these quilts. When you hear "the quilting makes the quilt", it definitely showed at this show! If you guys/gals are considering putting quilts into shows, please let your longarmer play with the quilting design. That's what these blue ribbon winners did & it brought them home the big ribbons. You know of some of us that do custom right here on this board. Or use some of your local longarmers. It's worth it!

I agree if they had no part in the quilt, it shouldn't be entered. but I guess if the piecer and quilter are recognized that might be ok. I just thought the one who had a "hand" in it were the ones who were considered the entrants.
