Default 2015 Senior Quilt, Blue on Blue

So I had a jelly roll and put it together not realizing that it was only a 20 piece jelly roll. Ugh! Luckily JoAnn's still carried this jelly roll so I was able to buy another roll. I added two borders and now have decided to add some applique. My daughter is a senior in high school this year and their school colors are blue on blue. I thought this would be a great senior quilt. I am appliqueing the school mascot, year and clubs she has been a part of. I am doing the applique by hand so it will take me a little while to finish. I do love how fast the jelly roll race quilt goes together. I already have 2 additional quilts planned and the fabric bought. I am going to be making a lot of these!!!

    Who else loves this pattern!

Very pretty. I like the white squares and the way the colors flow. Great idea to personalize it with appliqué.
