I made my own templates the circle is 7 inches across the middle and than I just made the center blocks to fit the folded in edges , I didn't have a pattern , just seen the quilt pattern and went from there. I used a decorative stitch to sew with , but you could use a narrow zig zag

I have been looking at huge bags of cut and uncut jeans that my late quilting buddy was saving for a denim quilt: hers, her sons' and her sons' friends. In the last year another bag with ours: mine, my children's, and my husband's joined the pile. She willed me her entire craft and sewing room, machines included, with instructions to make sure it got to all ages and skill levels of sewers. It's taken a year but I j-u-s-t got almost all of it to new homes.

Pat's stash and machines have found new homes. Your wonderful quilt came at EXACTLY the right time. I am going to cut and make a denim quilt for myself and feel comforted. It wouldn't have happened without you. Drat, she's right again. I can see her smirking.

You did a simple thing that made a great deal of difference. I thought you ought to know about it.

    Thank you.

    From Another Pat
Pat . My goodness thank you . I have tears in my eyes from reading your post. I'm at lost for words I have never had this happen before. There is one thing in the quilt that I didn't post. There is some strip demin patches in the quilt that is from bib overralls. My neice that asked me to make this quilt for her, and the demin patches are from her late fathers bibs. I'm at awe at how this quilt has touched people . Thank you Pat. I would love to see your quilt when you get it done. Thank you .

This should be a test for it, since the quilt is about 8 years old already.
