Holy cow. Most who attempt this quilt only do one and from what I have heard, that was more than enough. But to do two?!?!? I bow to your quiltworthyness.

Beautiful, I can't imagine doing two!! I started mine and have 8 blocks done but until we are done traveling it lays on the "to do" pile. I just found the counted cross stitch version and think that may be the way to go now! I can carry it with me along with my hexies.

traveling, is a wonderful way to do a jane. But i can imagine the 'stuff' you would have to have on hand to do them, unless you just the easy squares on the road. i hemmed the scallops by hand over a Thanksgiving trip. as my husband was driving down the road, i sewed, he drove. then would do some while people sat around and watch t.v. at nite, or checked their e-mail. there is a 4 patch in there. a nine patch, etc.

LOL! SewNso, I once tried to get a kit together for 3 or 4 blocks to take with me and it was just overwhelming. My husband's goal since retiring is visiting every county in the US so we have been on the road alot! Traveling the back roads and helping him navigate consumes the road time but time in motels and our RV is when I do my thing. Hesies are fast. Someday.....................
