    Default 2nd quilt top

I have my second quilt top sewed together. This was pretty challenging for me. It is Storm at Sea on point. I love to weave point twills so when I read that quilts could be turned on point, I wanted to try it. Some of the points don't connect very well. I had to figure out the size of the pieces for the smallest square in square and I had never done something like that. The size was a little off but over all I am happy. I have to still do the borders, I am thinking of narrow yellow border next to the quilt and a dark blue large border to finish it off.

This will be a wall hanging in my guest room. I am supposed to be designing the curtains to weave for that room but I tripped and fell down the quilting rabbit-hole Wish me luck on the qulting part of this. My first quilt was just 16" square and this is quite bigger and more intricate.

Very nice. Is that an antique candle wicking spread it sits on?
