    Oh, I am so over these Christmas projects.....Some of you may remember that I posted a pic a while back of my interpretation of Tim's Compass Star--unfinished. I had back burnered it due to running out of fabric and having to literally scrap piece it to finish.
    I pulled it out this morning to finish it off and decided that it's not so bad after all...All the corner triangles are crooked and none are the same size and had to be pieced together to have enough fabric to finish. I call this one a true scrappy.
    For my 34 year old nephew who is a cartographer (map maker)

    Incredible. I hope I can get brave enough and skilled enough to do a Mariner's Compass (or Star). Awesome.

    It looks fabulous! I love MC with the elongated rays for N S E and W. The background fabric is perfect for those MC!
