    Thanks. My church buys the plastic shoeboxes and lids in bulk, then congregants take and fill as many as they want, and return them to church by the collection Sunday. One couple from church then takes them all to the huge collection site in the next county over.
    The plastic shoeboxes with lids make a durable, waterproof, bug proof container for the kids’ treasures, which is a gift in itself.

    Ooh, I will remember this for next year. I made two 'topsy-turvy dolls this year, with an awake side, and an asleep side. It took me forever to do the yarn hair. I would much rather make the little quilts! I also made small draw-string bags, and snap bags. A great way to use up scraps.

    Thank you, everyone, for your sweet compliments. I sure do enjoy the thoughts of making children happy, especially with little quilts I love to make.
