    Thank you. Have not made minis before.

    The handle is a bias cut (actually cut from the remaining half triangle of the basket fabric).
    Then fold the cut piece in half, and iron it.
    Draw a half circle and sew the bias cut folded piece raw side on the drawn line
    Once that is done, fold over and stitch.

    I did sew the 2 half triangles first and un-stitched a couple stitches to tuck the ends of the handles. Reason to do that was to not distort the bias edge of the light half triangle while sewing the handle. This worked well for me.
