Here is my number 3. I'm more reluctant to let this one out...It needs quilted and binded. It's all pinned up and ready to go. I can't find my pins. I had to use safety pins. grrr... anyway, it is sunflowers embroidered on my brother SE 270 D........and for my SIL that loves sunflowers. See my first post if you want more details.

my first quilting project #3. Sunflowers. Sister. machine embroidery. machine quilting--to be! mini-wall art...bigger than a pot holder...maybe a large pot holder size! LOL!

AND.......seems like if I use my flash on my cam. inside at night, it makes the pic so BRIGHT you cannot see what it is.........hmmmm....so, I'm sorry about the pic. You can't really see the pretty colors or details as much. :(
ALSO: I HAD NO SOLID GREEN MACHINE EMBROIDERY THREAD, BUT MY BDAY WAS RECENT AND MY MIL GOT ME SOME THREAD THAT WAS VARIGATED (sp?) AND I USED IT FOR THE STEMS AND LEAVES......
I ALSO USED A MULTI-COLOR VARIGATED FOR THE CENTER OF THE FLOWERS BECAUSE I HAD NO BROWN AT THE TIME!

    Daughter #6!
I am so proud of you posting your quilts. It's hard to put your work out there for others to see and critique. This is such a warm site though it feels very, very safe to share you projects. I hope you will continue to share photos of your work.

You're doing a great job and your SIL is going to love her birthday presents! The love you've put into each stitch will be seen by all. I love the school teacher quilt. I bet your SIL hangs that in her first classroom. My daughter took a quilt I'd made and hung it in her room. The kids all loved it. The sunflowers are beautiful. I think that's probably my favorite of the three, though it's very hard to choose!

    Keep up the stitching, Miranda.
    Your adopted "Ma", Yvonne

P.S. Just how do those pins get away from us? I think they must have a secret meeting spot along with the scissors!!!

Yvonne! UR so sweet! You've brought tears to my eyes! It was especially hard to put up the first of my work!!!!!!!!!!!
I will share ALL of my projects! I've shared them all so far! LOL!
I've recently found most of my runaway scissors...as for the pins....I think they've run off completely! I'll show them! I'm going to get some better ones when I get out!!!! They'll be jealous and come back, then! That's how it always is, things come back after you get more. It's just jealousy! :D

I'm very glad you like my little mini-minis...
See you this summer, ma! :O

Have fun! And you're absolutely right. The old ones always show up just after you rip open the new package!
