I took my daughter to Sit n' Sew at the LQS today. She wanted to make a purse, so she picked out her fat quarters and I cut out her pieces. She controlled the foot pedal, helped pin and unpin the fabric, and helped guide the fabric.
She ended up using my Singer after metal pieces started falling out of her new Lil' Sew & Sew machine. I think that's going back to Santa's workshop.
She worked from 9:30 until noon. She was starting to get antsy the last hour, but she pulled through. Then she carried her leftover fabric home in her new purse. :)
    We both had fun!
Notice, we had to bring our own little table and chair for her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to reach her foot pedal.

What a good mommy you are. She will cherish the memory. She's a little doll.
