I think my template is the 7" one. But I use a VERY generous seam. I usually flat out use a 1/2" seam, but did go a bit smaller for this one, since I wasn't sure if it would still curve well with a wide seam. I think the finished square worked out to be about 6".
The quilt pictured on the template package was done in purple/blue batiks, and it was VERY pretty.

quiltncrazy- Thank you so much! I think that my quilts have that happy, whimsical feeling too. At least I try for that. What a wonderful compliment! Thank you again.
As for the binding, who knows?! I have to get the thing quilted first, and for those who don't know me... that'll be a while. I'll probably use a single color though, when I get there.

I agree that it is an easy and quick quilt to do. It takes longer to cut the fabric than the actual sewing. I need to do a crib size quilt so will check the pattern book to see if it can be done smaller. Perhaps I would need to use the smaller templates. I really like how your quilt came out.

Your thirties prints are just so appealing to me. They really stand out against the white background.
Sewing curves? Even with a special tool, it will be a while before I attemt that.
Can't wait to see this one completed......hurry
