    Default #4 of 3013 mission to use scraps

    Top #4 completed. Just string blocks. It is 70 x 93. Pic is not real good due to light coming in my windows. Cant see bottom border too much as it is lying on the floor but you get the idea. My scrap bins do not appear to have been depleted any, so on to #5. Also a pic of U of Alabama wallhanging I have been working on, added a few more of the applique pieces so the elephant is all done. Now deciding on borders for it. Will probably go to a son who is a fan.

    This looks almost like stained glass, especially with the blue fabric around each square.

    Beautiful scrappy, lots of nice colors. I made about 7 scrappy quilts and still have tons of scraps.
