What a wonderful project! I only sewed with one 'student' and was exhausted after that!

WOW! What a wonderful project week for the children. So glad your health held up and you are pleased with the passing of the 3 hours and I am sure you are especially proud of your DGD. Kudos to you for a wonderful time for the children and they look so proud of their work.

Kids should be exposed to all sorts of arts, crafts and skills they would not normally have access to. I give credit to you to helping the next generation of sewers :-)

I love that all of you shared your time and talents to help these kids learn new skills, focus and finish a project, and learn skills that will last a life time!

Out of three kids, 6 Grands only my oldest Daughter sews, quilts and crochets. She must take after me. As a kid she preferred to stay indoors read and make crafts.

How awesome...looks like the kids are having a great time and sounds like you enjoyed it just as much. It’s gotta do your heart good to work with the kids and experience their enthusiasm and pride.

Thank you for the pictures. I see all types of sewing machines in use. I am sure most of them will catch the quilting/sewing bug. Congrats on your accomplishment of teaching this class.

Great undertaking. Those kids look so happy doing what they are doing! They, obviously, are having a great time. There is nothing like giving kids 'hands on experiences'. That is one of the great things about 4-H. I like to see boys sew and girls do woodwork!
