    Default 4 hands teaching star

My eldest daughter who's 18 was very sad this weekend so we decided to start a pillow case based on "Mrs Billings' Coverlet" quilt to cheer her up. This is a 4 hands work, it was for me the occasion to teach her quilting and for her to learn some sewing methods because she is a beginner.

How beautiful! I hope that this helped to do the trick of cheering her up. At the very least it was some quality time with mom and showed her that you care.

Beautiful block! I'm sure the time spent working together was good for her (and you)!

This is very pretty! Do you have the pattern for the quilt? Doesn't look like it'd be too hard to figure out though.

I don't have the pattern, I saw this block on a picture and I did it with 3/4" hexis I draw on my computer along with the diamonds, you need 18 hexis and 18 diamonds.
