    Some of you may remember on Chat last month when I was telling the story of how I had to quickly make up a quilt for my son's girlfriend after I insulted her on Christmas Eve (no, I really wasn't drunk, but close enough to it that I really didn't care what I was saying when I told her to take the stick out of her butt and loosen up a little :oops: )

    Her birthday is the 4th of July and this is what she wanted.

    Soooooooooooo, anyhoo, here is the quilt top. I'm going to be spraying it tomorrow to sandwich it (hope that works) an getting it quilted over the next week or so.

    Well gosh Lee...aren't you early for her birthday? And she probably needed to hear that :roll: :roll: :lol:

    ROFLMBO sorry I cant stop laughing and it hurts my back but I cant stop

    How sweet, maybe she will get over it and losen up :wink:

    What a beautiful quilt ! I love the colors and design ... and if she doesn't i know where it can find a good home! :lol: :lol: :lol: What pattern did you use ?

    The pattern is called Fireworks Fancy and is out of the book Amazingly Simple Star Quilts by Jeanne Stauffer & Sandra L. Hatch.

    Oh, dear!! I am laughing so hard I am crying!!! You do have a way with words, and I hope she took it to heart!!

    Seriously, the quilt is just beautiful!!! She should be really happy :D
