A Ray Bradbury fan had to zero in on that quilt :D I loved the effect of looking out into space. I bought the fabric at Walmart and it is very good quality but when I went back for more they were all out. Thus the black holes.

Very lucky grankids. You certainly have been busy for being such a newbie. I'm sure they'll all love them. What's not to love???!!!
Keep up the good work, Kutnso

Thanks so much, I think those came from Joanne's online, the retro flowers and the seashells. The pillowcase body came from a recent trip to Japan. I couldn't find that peach color at any of the local stores.

Your hand embroidery is very good also. Must have taken you ages to complete each quilt.

I wish you had more grandchildren as i would love to see what you would come up with next.
Thank you so much, you surely are gracious! Actually, I didn't do anything by hand stitching except the binding. The rest was done by machine. When I look at the quilting that others do, I know I'd never be able to be that accurate so I resort to liberal free motion quilting with no patterns. That makes everything go quicker if you don't have to trace and worry about going outside the lines. Happy Thanksgiving!

I like the idea of presenting the quilts in their pillow cases. I am going to make the tube pillow case over the Christmas break - so may make a quilt to go with it! I love the cupcakes and sundae ideas for the girls and the masculine approach for the boys.
