    My, my, my. We started at about the same time and the same age, and you are FAR ahead of me!! Wonderful quilts.. The grandkids will be beside themselves with delight. I think I need to stop playing around and get my act in gear. Great job - I'm impressed and so pleased for your wonderful progress.

    I think I was driven by the thought that if I die, I don't have anything to leave the grandkids that I personally made. So I made a goal to do one quilt a month. I had the advantage of leaving my sewing machine and unfinished quilt just the way it was and anytime I had a few minutes to spare, I'd try to do some sewing, even for 15 minutes. I did a lot of learning on youtube too, I'm a visual learner so it's easier to watch a video than to read instructions.

    I can't believe how many people are generous and teach their skills for free. Youtube rocks!!
