    That's one gorgeous quilt. The fact that you designed it yourself is just an awesome gift to your DGS. No one will ever have one just like it. What a work of art! He probably just likes nature and the panel may have reminded him of a trip. Whatever, he is going to really enjoy that quilt.

    Your quilt is beautiful. I am not a panel fan but you made this one look terrific. You showed off your skills as a quilter and made the panel look like it was truly part of the quilt.

    Wow ... What a fantastic design! You are good at that and should never worry about being jailed by the quilt police. LOL...
    I am sure this quilt is destined to be a family heirloom.
