    Yes I said 7,000 pieces WHEW. My mother is a quilter and saved her little snippets for years. She bought me an acrylic template of a small diamond, to make it "easier". I spent months cutting out pieces and then started to sew, and sew and sew. I never realized at the time that diamonds were a little tricky to match. These are not the best pictures since I had already hung it and didn't want to get it back down. I usually give all my quilts away, but this one is mine. Enjoy

    It really is beautiful and so colorful. I see how wonderful a job you did matching seams. This one is a keeper. Just puts a smile on my face looking at it. Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to see it.

    When I saw that last picture with the quarter on it, my "Oh my goodness!" was so loud, DH had to come see !!
