    Oh memories!!! I had several outfits out of this stuff as Momma made all our clothes... she went NUTS over polyester double knit... NO MORE IRONING!! woo hooooo...
    This quilt will last FOREVER!!!!

    Pretty much all you can do is to tie this quilt!!! I have a double knit polyester quilt made by my grandmother. She used scraps of fabric from dresses and pantsuits that my aunt had made for her!!! Remember pantsuits!!!!???? :shock: :shock: I LOVE the quilt because it reminds me of grandma. I remember seeing her wear the clothing the scraps were from!!! ;-)

    BTW: I had only two pairs of bell bottoms -- both double knit!! -- a brown pair and a green pair!! I used to wear them with bodysuits!!!! YIKES!!!!!! What fun those were when you had to use the bathroom!!!! :lol: :lol: :thumbdown:

    OMG, I think my mom made one of these in the 70's. She used it to cover an old wool quilt. We lived in Oregon. It was soooo heavy. when we got sick she would cover us with it.
