    I remember a pair of orange flowered hip-hugger bell bottoms with an orange knit shirt that went with it! Aaahhh, the memories. This quilt is great fun for the memories they bring to mind-- and very pretty, too.

    Yeah, hip-hugger bell bottoms, making out in the back seat at the drive-in theater, making him take off his watch so that the watch band didn't make any picks in your polyester double knit. he he! We could teach the younguns a thing or two! But, my goodness, that thing must weigh a ton. And the seams will stretch and the thread will break if you're not careful with it. Hope you have fun with it. Thanks for sharing.

    My grandmother used to make the polyester quilts and they were beautiful. We used them at her house in NE Texas in the winter. She lived in an old house and would not let us leave the heaters on at night. Whatever the temperature was outside, it was the same inside.
