Not a doubt in my mind your mother will love it!

My mom turns 80 in March, but I made her a great big quilt for her 75th birthday. I don't think she uses it.

have you thought about backing it with flannel? I made a lap quilt for my mom when she was in a wheel chair and backed it with flannel. it made it warmer and washed up very well. you did a very good job picking colors.

What a thoughtful and lovely gift. I sensed my mother was dying even though her doctors didn't say so, when I was making her a Christmas quilt and so I showed her the blocks each step of the way. I didnot wait and give it to her only on Christmas. Once it was done I brought it out to show her sometimes and on Christmas finally gave it to her. She was thrilled through the entire process. She died 31/2 months later. I'm so glad I didn't wait. I know the love that went into your making this quilt for your mother. I'm certain she will cherish your treasure because you made it whether it be for a day, a month or hopefully more years! Great job!/ Lissa

My mother is 81 years old and would love a quilt to keep her knees warm. You did a great job on yours, it reminds me of my mom. What size did you make it?
