    I finally finished my daughter's birthday quilt. i don't want to look at triangles for a while.

    Wow, that looks great! I see why you don't want to look at triangles for a while..... maybe a nice easy strip-pieced two-color nine-patch is what you need now just to keep in shape for the next big project.

    My daughter does keep things. She knows the value of making a quilt. I talked her into making one for herself after I got my longarm. It took her a year (with her 5 year old daughter pestering her to finish). She said never again. I told her to use this one and not put it up to keep. She has stored several quilts from her great grandmothers and grandmothers on both sides of the family.
