I got this lovely duck batik fabric from Deb Umphress of the QB. I knew that I was going to make something for my girlfriend's husband, Greg. I searched high and low for more of the batik, only found it in blue. So I saw a book on the board for sale that caught my eye, went to Amazon and ordered it. I loved that all the patterns made 60" square quilts, perfect for me. Got the book and thumbed thru it and found this pattern, 9 Holes in the Barn Door, realized that there was enough of the duck batik to make it and decided Sunday to do it. I just got it completed in time to take with me on vacation (starts tomorrow), he is having heart surgery 9/15/11. It could be simple; he could go home that evening, or it could be complicated; he might have to stay a few days. Now he has a quilt to convalesce with. Deb, I loved the duck batik so much and thank you for trying to help me find more of it. The blue is pretty too, but I love teal. thanks for looking.

Don't know why the colors are showing so dark.
