    This was quite the challenge quilting this on my domestic sewing machine. I have the Quilt Designer by Husqvarna Viking.
    I originally tried the Q foot..but didn't care for that at all. I ended up purchasing the open toe stippling foot and I am quite pleased with this foot.
    I have no clue how many bobbins I went through. I would wind 2 bobbins and meander until they were both empty then take a break. Sometimes I let it sit for a few days before coming back to it, but I always emptied two bobbins before quiting. With setting the two bobbin goal the picture didn't seem quite as big. LOL

    I like the tight meandering quilting. On civil war quilts it makes them look more "aged" in my opinion.
