    not all is 9 patch.. there are squares and rectangles of various sizes.. the pattern comes from the 9 patch pizzaz book..

    It's a great book. I've made several 9patch pizzazz quilts, and they go together fast and look good.

    If you have a novelty print or large print fabric that you love but just can't bear to cut up, i suggest this pattern. You leave several 12" squares or 6 x 12" rectangles and they really showcase the print.
