I love love your scrappy 9-patch quilts.... all of them. What a great idea. By using sashing you've pulled it all together and it looks ordered, not chaotic. I could see myself doing one of these. (It's funny 'cause I'd sworn I couldn't/wouldn't do a scrappy quilt because they were just to chaotic for my ordered mind.....when will I learn to never say never, especially when dealing with QB.)

Even though I wish my mind were more ordered than it is, I also prefer this type of scrappy to a completely unplanned one--which I've also done.

This is also why I've done 4 of these (and have at least one more in the works). I will probably do more since I always, always have lots of scraps.

You did an awesome job. Isn't it amazing that by changing the color of the sashing, you can completely change the quilt.

ARGH!!! you are killing me LOL! I love your scrappy quilts and have tons of scraps and every time I see yours I want make them, but I just don't have the time
