This is the quilt as you go method I mentioned earlier.
You sew circle sandwiches with light batting cut a smalll turning hole - turen and press into these cute circle pancakes
Then sew these piles of circles together into rows and then sew the rows together. All the while the straight line sewing on the circles creats those flaps that look like petals and you sew them down with a zigzag or decorative stitch which creats the quilting along with a cool pattern on the back.
These puppies whip up pretty fast.
I did one from start to fishish in 3 weekends and I am fairly slow.
These are both queen size = at least they fit my queen size bed
I did not measure and the cirlce size is up to you! so you make as meany as needed. Just keep adding rows!
I LOVE THESE and so did both of my cousins to whom they went as wedding gifts!

Super! I wondered how that would look all done up. My Bernina dealer was showing me that technique when she was trying to sell me the circle making attachment. Do you let your machine do it by itself with the walking foot? I may just have to get one of those things now that I see your quilts :lol: :lol:
