I was always told that a even expert piecers have made errors in their quilts. I have a block that I made backwards and I didn't notice it until after it was completed. I figured if anyone noticed, they were looking way to hard. Enjoy your lovely quilt.

I had a quilting teacher say, "Only God is perfect, my quilt doesn't need to be".

Oh no. I hate to say it, but I went right to it. I have done this a lot too. i work third and sometimes I stay up too late and get tired too.

I would have to fix it if it isn't quilted yet. But at the same time. I like the earlier post and story about Humble Block.

It is a gorgeous quilt either way.

What scream??? Label it TOP. Or turn the whole thing sideways and label one side "driver" and the other side "passenger". Some one told me many years ago that the best way to show the quilt was homemade and not storebought is to turn one of the squares sideways or upside down. Makes it unique.

I think it is beautiful. I love the fabric!!!
The mistake is screaming at you only because you know it is there. I myself wouldn't have seen the mistake till you brought it to my attention.
I am the same way though. I get so frustrated when something doesn't go together perfectly. I am working on not being so critical.

Always love those mystery quilts. Can you find where I deviated? Love it!

Ok the half square triangle in upper row, several turned backward? It's your quilt. Don't take apart, don't bring to attention. I made a 7' square signature bow-tie quilt 2 bow ties were backward. I explained that I am not perfect, my quilt is not perfect. Only Christ is perfect. I also have a tumbling block top made of shades of purple and gold, my grammar and high school colors. One side is backward. It's my quilt. Have fun.
