I took a lot of effort into the first quilt for my grandson (3) with the result, that DD insisted on putting it to the wall.
So I made a second one for him to use with a panel and yardage from moda "love u" fabric. Glad I ordered the storybook as well, as those letters where much bigger.

Just added borders to the centerpiece and the letters and added yardage "as I went" to the size of 70" x 70".

What I am really excited about is the FMQ. Its my first try and I am quite pleased. Had the fabric in the mail on friday and it was so much fun.

The numbers and the applique I made with the embroidery machine and the disigns are from JuJu
The binding is not finished but I just had to take pictures with the last daylight.

This is so cute! You did a great job with the FMQ. I hope he uses it til it falls apart! Best compliment on a quilt. :0)
