OMGoodness!!!!! This is so beautiful!!!!!    I LOVE redwork and wanted to make my sweet mama a table runner featuring redwork cardinals that are sitting on pine branches. Well, I asked her a few questions before I started them just to get a feel for what she thought about redwork. Uhhh, let's just say I didn't do the cardinals in redwork!!   She thought I was asking her opinion about how I should do them, and I explained my plan (i.e. redwork), but the sweetheart said to me, "Don't you think it wouldn't look right done in all red?" Then again I would explain redwork. She replied, "I think it would be prettier if the cardinals were in red and the pine branches were done in green." :D :D Too cute!! Well, someday I will make MYSELF a runner and a quilt in redwork!!! For now, mama will have her cardinals in red and greens! ;) ;)

Lovely! I love hand embroidery. The quilting looks great too.
